this is all I have to show for an upwards of a week of inactivity...? xD;;

Anyway, I really wanted to do that pixiv marriage form meme, but I could never find a translated copy...! FINALLY I came across a blank one, and happened upon a rough translation of a filled-out one. I edited the translation a little (there was some bad grammar) and retyped it onto the blank one, and came up with this.

For a while I wasn't sure who I wanted to do, and then it hit me xD ROMA-JIJI and MAMA GREECE, of course!!

I stuck in all kinds of nerdy references~
-I have decided that the tying of the proverbial knot correlates with the Battle of Corinth in 146 BC, in which the Republic of Rome's army totally destroyed the prosperous city and proceeded to absorb the area owned by the Achean League into its growing empire.

-Rome's seal (which he stamped a few too many times) is based on part of the Roman Empire's flag. Mama's is just what I put on her shield--the Ancient Greeks were notoriously scattered, I couldn't really find a good symbol for the entirety of the country. The H stands for Hellas, Greece, or perhaps for Hellene, what I call her in my head-canon. (The Greeks called themselves Hellenes, and I remember reading about a myth that they were all decsended from a lady named Hellene.)

-Historians agree that Rome the city was founded on April 21st, 753 BC. Greek civilization... doesn't have any real, well, starting date, especially since my Mama has a chibi form that corresponds with the earlier Cyclatic/Minoan/Mycenean culture... so I went the way of Prussia and just said she doesn't remember xD

-Their handwritings are both allcaps because lowercase letters (for their languages) hadn't been invented yet.

-THE LETTER "C" IS JUST MORE PROOF THAT ITALIA'S HETARE WAS HEREDITARY!
