WP: Claudette takes on Canada

The Halloween one got old. And I was GONNA do a winter one, but my hands have been so cold that I couldn't fathom actually DRAWING people in the cold. So I went through my warm/neutral saved backgrounds.

(I like to edit my characters into existing default backgrounds, but then I ran out of editable backgrounds already on my computer. So I searched around and found a bunch of official backgrounds from a variety of systems on a random tech website ;9)

Claudette is posing epicly atop a statue of and monument to Samuel de Champlain in Quebec City, Canada. Originally, I was going to have her and maybe Machi reading the inscription or perhaps posing for a photo closer to the bottom of the frame, but then I did a fact-check and realized this: [link] the base extends another, like, five feet down xD;;; Nobody would know, of course, but I would know, and I like to have all the details correct when I do things, so that plan was scrapped. So now Claudette's just sitting on it, she probably clambered up the statue on the other side of the monument when nobody was looking xD

Oh, and that's Le Chateau Frontenac behind her, by the way, a famous and fancyschmancy hotel right on the riverside.

Since Claudette is a very proud French girl, I thought she'd be perfect for this one. There are some French who look down upon the Quebecois as "not French," but I doubt Claudette'd be like that, at least 'cuz she's a child and doesn't get that stuff yet. (And heck, she's my character, I can't be having intolerant people as my characters, non non!)

bet Claudette'd pronounce "Quebec" right, too... I always tell people it's keh-bek, but do they listen...?

Wallpaper found on some website, not entirely sure it's actually official, but if it is or not, this is not meant to break any copyrights, this is only used for my desktop and will not be sold or claimed as mine.
That said, the character, Claudette, is copyright *Kaede-chama ie me, so yeah. :\
