classwork: king of clubs

For a collaboration I'm doing with a few friends in my Illustration class. Each of us chose a suit, and we were GOING to make a whole deck of cards to sell at the school sale but it doesn't look likely anymore. One friend and I are printing postcards of our works to sell, though.

I had decided long before that my final would be in cut paper because darnit I LIKE cut paper and I hadn't had a chance to do it yet this semester.

Then I realized derp derp gonna have to cut out tiny little clubs derp they're made of 3 circles each DERP

aaaah my fingers and neck hurt so much after finishing these...

Aaaanyway yup here's the king, lookin regal. I was quite pleased with him from the get-go, because... I finally got to make Hektor's nose. [link]
