classwork: parkomic 4

_{Alright, before you say anything, yes, this is the worst scan ever. Seeing as it's... not a scan, my scanner bed was too small, photomerge was being uncooperative, and I wound up just photographing the darn things. I might maybe be able to wrangle a better scan someday but for now this is the best I can do.}

Part of a four-page assignment for my graphic novel class. We were to do a comic completely devoid of characters, instead focusing on the Place as character. I painted a local park. By far the most common critique I got was "TOO MUCH MIDDLE GRAYS" and of course now all the whites are messed up from my photo...

The fifth panel is a cigarette butt in the dirt OK NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS THERE IS NO NEED TO LOOK AT THAT PANEL EVER AGAIN.

Those guys in panel four were talking about what kind of girls they liked, it was kind of adorable. "yeah yeah I dated a girl once, so shallow, man... I like a girl who has her sh** together..."
